Year of St Francis - Pilgrimage Day.
This Sunday, 21st June, you are invited to visit our friary anytime between 9am and 5pm. This will be an opportunity to spend time in prayer and receive the indulgence granted by Pope Leo XIV for this Year of St Francis. A relic of St Francis (with relics of other Franciscan saints) will be available for veneration, and there will always be at least one friar available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Want to learn more about St Francis? This Tuesday evening we have the first of three talks to mark the 800th anniversary of his death. Come to the friary at 7.00pm to hear Br John introduce us to this beloved but often misunderstood saint.

For the Year of St Francis, twelve people and a dog made a mini-pilgrimage from St Cuthbert's to our friary. They had a time of prayer and reflection in our chapel, with an opportunity to venerate a relic of St Francis.
