A THANK YOU FROM THE FAMILY OF DEE CURTIS
Malcolm and the family would like to express their thanks and gratitude for all the love and support they have received since Dee died.
Dee touched countless lives and this is reflected in the numerous cards and tributes sent to the family. It has been such a comfort to them at this difficult time.
The generosity and dedication of so many good people made the funeral a truly seamless occasion and the family will be forever grateful to everyone who joined them, whether in person or online to celebrate Dee's life.
Thank you for your compassion and for helping honour Dee's memory.

Church Cleaning & Gardening, 24th June 2026

On Wednesday (24th) we are holding a morning of cleaning and gardening in and around the church. We are aiming to spruce-up the church and grounds ahead of Dee Curtis’s funeral. We will be about from 9:30 to about 12:30, though you are welcome to give as little or as much time as you can spare, any help would be appreciated. The weather is forecast to be hot and although the church is normally cool, even the church is warming up! Any gardening should be in the shade, bring any appropriate tools for weeding the flower beds. Refreshments will be provided. Tom & Rev Ian

We hold in our prayers those involved and affected by the rail collision near Bedford yesterday, on a section of track that many of us use and know so well.

May the injured find swift and gentle healing.
May the frightened find calm amid the chaos.
May those who grieve be wrapped in comfort they cannot find alone.
May the lost be held in peace beyond all pain.
May the responders, medical teams, and all helpers find strength for what they carry.
And may all of us find the courage to reach toward one another in this their hour of need. Amen.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Dee Curtis, our longstanding and faithful Churchwarden at Toddington.
Dee has been a pillar of strength to this parish church of St George of England, the benefice of Toddington & Chalgrave and local community for a number of years, working tirelessly to ensure worship takes place and coordinating many community and fellowship events each week. She will be sorely missed.
Dee's funeral will take place at St George of England Parish Church, Toddington on Tuesday 7th July at 1:30pm. All are invited to the service to celebrate Dee's life. The family only will be following on to the Crematorium. Refreshments will be available in the Wilkinson Hall after the service, where the family will return after attending the Crematorium.

May she now rest in peace
