This Sunday we have a joint service with our friends from Moniaive at St Ninian's starting at the earlier time of 10:30 am. There will be no service in Dunscore Church this Sunday.

Many of you will know or have seen Ann Wren who plays the organ for us once a month or so. She is doing a sponsored hymn play (playing all the to hymns in the Church of Scotland Hymnary - CH4). She is doing this in aid of the Mother's Union which "Transforms lives through faith, community and action" and is celebrating its 150th year! https://www.mothersunion.org/our-work/

Ann started this in Dunscore Church yesterday and will be continuing to play through the CH4 hymns at churches around the country. She is happy to do requests and will even do her best to record a hymn and send the recording to a recipient. If you would like to sponsor Ann, you can contact her at: [email protected].

This Sunday's Church Family Notices are below. A couple of things about this Sunday's service (which starts at 11:30 am). Firstly, as Mark is off this week, we are delighted that Kath Aitken is leading our service. Secondly, it is KiKs Sunday. There is a great explanation of this in the CFNs so have a look there and please encourage children to join us for the service (and their own activities).

Remember to join us for the monthly litter picking tomorrow. Meet in the church car park at 9:30 am and bring a bag, pair of gloves, hi viz and a friend! An hour of picking and then into the church for refreshments. With luck we won't have to wrap up quite as much as we did for this photo. But dress for the weather!
