Excellent Children's Day Service today followed by pizza in the Hall. Thank you our wonderful readers - Holly, Erin, Lochlan, Harry, Bryn and Adele, Heather and Sue. At the end of the service prizes were presented for attendance over the year. Thank you also to Andrew for playing the organ. It was a lovely service led by the young people.

Our next lecture will be on Thursday, 11th June in the Church at 7.30 pm and will be given by Rev Dr David Steers on 'Rev John Malcome, opponent of Non-Subscription and Minister of Dunmurry 1699-1729'.

We had a wonderful 350th Anniversary Service yesterday. The Choir of Dunmurry Primary School were excellent. Readings were given by Adele and Kathy and a prayer by Sue. Allen and Jack played brilliantly and the service was followed by refreshments which most of those present were able to come back for. Great to see so many people there enjoying a really good time of fellowship and so encouraging to see so many clergy from different denominations present. A great way to celebrate 350 years. Thank you to everyone who helped with the refreshments. Here's some images from after the service

Wonderful night at Dunmurry with the NSPCI Sunday School and Youth Committee Service and Exhibition. Thanks to Rev Lynda Kane, Adele, Sara, and Erin who led the service, to Allen for playing the piano, and to Rt Rev Alister Bell who had the immense task of judging the many entries from across the denomination. After the service there was a close fought quiz before the distribution of the prizes and then over to the Hall for pizza and ice cream. Thank you to everyone who came along and everyone who helped. It was a great night and very encouraging to see the denominational Sunday Schools once again flourishing.

Dunmurry members at Downpatrick

There was a great turnout for the annual meeting of the Remonstrant Synod of Ulster yesterday afternoon at Downpatrick and a really good contingent from Dunmurry present. It was a splendid meeting and service and thank you to the Rev Rosalind Taggart and the Downpatrick congregation for hosting the occasion and the Rev Brian Moodie for his excellent sermon.
