Dunkeld Cathedral Art Exhibition

We have just finished a very successful Exhibition in the Duchess Anne in Dunkeld.
Thank you to everyone who visited us over the 5 weeks with pictures going off to France, Germany and USA as well as all over Uk and local too. Lots of lovely work.
Thanks also to our stewards and helpers who keep the Exhibition going, open every day.

Sales at the Duchess Anne have been very good but with nearly 100 artists there are still a number of lovely pieces of work available. A couple have even been discounted.
The exhibition will close on saturday 29th at 4pm...this is also Birnam Games day.
If you are in the area please call in and have a browse and say hello.

A German family bought a picture of Rannoch Moor as a souvenir of their trip to Scotland. They had visited the area the previous day.
Work has gone off to France, USA and Germany as well as all over UK.
The website has been updated and we still have lots of lovely work on show.
Open every day 10-4 and 12-4 on Sundays.

Sales have been good and a few artists have sold all their work and been asked to bring in more, if possible.

A very busy few days with a lot of lovely comments on the work on display.
Web site has just been updated - 38 pieces sold!!
Still lots of good work available, don’t leave it too late. 2 ladies were looking at pictures and went back to buy one they had earmarked, only to find someone else had bought it before them.

Just some last minute tidying up to do and we are ready for our Preview Evening on Friday 24th from 6-8.
Many thanks to David & David with Marilyn and Terry who completed the hanging today. Also Sean for sorting out our lighting.

Victoria Wylie has 4 pictures in the Exhibition.
Large picture at top - Dancing Tide 40 x40 cm and 3 smaller pictures, Beyond Sundown, Ochre Dream and Twilight on the Braes.
Victoria has just had an excellent Exhibition on the Meffan in Forfar

With around 100 artists bringing in work we have begun to hang pictures.
Urszula Pawlowska brought in a triptych, original oil on canvas. Full size 110 x 87 cm including frame. £270 for all three 'Largs Yacht Haven'
Her other pictutes are Arran Boats and Fishing Harbour Boats.
