Following the announcement from Girls’ Brigade Scotland on Facebook regarding its closure, https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1JH9uUznXJ/?mibextid=wwXIfr
I wanted to reassure you that our Company will continue to operate as normal throughout the coming session and beyond.

While there are still many details to be confirmed, our intention is to move forward positively by joining Girls’ Brigade England & Wales as part of the new Girls’ Brigade Great Britain from June 2027.

At this stage, we are still learning more about what this will look like in practice, but we remain committed to providing a safe and welcoming organisation for all of our girls.

We understand that this news may feel emotional and uncertain for many people, especially those who have such a strong connection to Girls’ Brigade Scotland. However, we are encouraged that Girls’ Brigade itself will continue, with the same values, friendships, opportunities and sense of community that have always been at the heart of what we do.

For now, it is very much business as usual for our Company, and we will continue to keep you updated as we receive more information over the months ahead.
