Window Project
During our most recent Quinquennial inspection it was identified that a number of windows urgently required refurbishment. We applied for and were delighted to have been successfully awarded funding by the National Church Trust Treasure Island Grant. This means we can ensure the windows are refurbished properly and will last for many years to come.
The work is ongoing and is hoped to be completed by the end of Spring 2026. Below are some pictures of the before, during and after of the first phase of window refurbishment.
As a Parish we would like to thank Nina McNeary and Kerry Rooney MBE from NCT for their advice, guidance and supporting during the application process and since we were awarded our grant. Thanks also to Mr Stephen Leighton, Diocesan Architect for his help, assistance and oversight of the project.
Special thanks must go to CWS Design Stained Glass Studio, Lisburn for their care and attention to our very fragile windows prior to restoration and the fantastic job they have done in refurbishing the windows. We cannot wait to see the full suite of windows restored and re-installed back in the Church.
