This week was looking at Who is the Holy Spirit?

We discussed the trinity. How Jesus, God and Holy Spirit are 3in1, like a three leaf clover or water, ice and steam and how the Holy Spirt is always with us.

He changes us from the inside out.

You might not be able to see the wind, but you can see its effects.

The same should be true of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

This Sunday is a perfect time to invite someone new as we have our Connect Sunday Lunch after the service, which is great for people who are new to church.

Is there someone you want to see saved? Bring them along this Sunday!

Not controlling everyone around you.

Not forcing people to do what you want.

Learning to surrender yourself to the Holy Spirit.

The only control you should be exercising is self-control.

📖FOUNDATIONS BIBLE SCHOOL IS BACK!

Sign up on ChurchSuite!

Bible School Starts back on Monday 14th September 7.30 - 9.00pm. This term will run for 10 weeks with a break for two weeks over the October holidays. It's new material from last term so come along for the first time or come back for more of God's word!

We will be focusing on learning how to get a good handle on the word of God. As Paul instructed Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:15: "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."

So we will be exploring how we come to have the bible we have today and what it speaks to us about. We will learn how it was written and how we should read it to unlock its transforming power.

Come along if you have never read the bible before and want to know where to start. Come along if you ever get stuck or discouraged reading the bible and need inspiration and motivation. Come along if you want to go to your next level of understanding and experience of the bible.
