“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Matthew 5:4

We are delighted to introduce a new initiative at St Columba's Church: a Monthly Bereavement Support Group meeting at 11am on:

Wednesday, 9 September 2026 - Understanding Grief and the Stages of Grief
Wednesday, 14 October 2026 - The Inner World of Grief
Wednesday, 11 November 2026 - The Outer World of Grief
Wednesday, 9 December 2026 - The Context of Grief
Wednesday, 13 January 2027 - The Faces of Grief

Everyone is welcome. Whether your loss is recent or some time ago, you are very welcome to join us. You do not need to have all the answers, and you do not need to know what to say. This is simply a place where you can come, be yourself, meet others and find a little companionship along the way. As a church, we believe that we are called to walk alongside people not only in moments of celebration, but also in times of sorrow and uncertainty. Through this new initiative, we hope to offer a listening ear, a welcoming table and a community of support to those who are grieving. To help us prepare sufficient refreshments and food, please register your attendance in advance by sending a text message to: 07588845814. We look forward to welcoming you.
