As the blessed days of Eid al-Adha arrive, we extend our heartfelt greetings to all members of our congregation and the wider community.

May Allah Rabbul Izzat accept our prayers, sacrifices, and good deeds, and fill our homes with peace, mercy, and barakah. May this Eid bring unity, happiness, and strength to our families and community.

We remember in our du’as those who are unwell, struggling, or have lost loved ones, and ask Allah Rabbul Izzat to grant ease and comfort to all.

*Day of Arafah – Tuesday* *26th May 2026*

*Iftari time:* 9:40pm

The blessed Day of Arafah is one of the greatest days in the Islamic calendar and falls on *Tuesday 26th May*. It is the day on which Allah perfected our religion and completed His favour upon the Ummah.

For those not performing Hajj, fasting on this day carries immense reward.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“*Fasting on the Day of Arafah expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year.*” (Muslim)

✨ Why is this day so special?

• It is the day the pilgrims stand on the plains of Arafah in complete humility before Allah Rabbul Izzat.
• A day of mercy, forgiveness and acceptance of duʿā.
• Allah Rabbul Izzat frees more people from the Fire on this day than any other.
• It symbolises repentance, unity, sacrifice and returning back to Allah Rabbul Izzat sincerely.

🤲 Recommended actions on the Day of Arafah:

• Fast the day (for non-Hujjaj)
• Increase in duʿā and dhikr
• Recite plentiful:
*Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul mulku wa lahul ḥamdu wa huwa ʿalā kulli shay’in qadīr*
• Seek forgiveness sincerely
• Send *salāh upon* the Prophet ﷺ
• Prepare spiritually for Eid al-Adha

May Allah Rabbul Izzat accept our fasting, forgive our sins, accept the Hajj of the pilgrims and grant us all His mercy and blessings.

EID UL ADHA ANNOUNCEMENT

Assalāmu ʿAlaikum wa Rahmatullāhi wa Barakātuh,

We are pleased to confirm that the crescent moon of Dhu al-Hijjah has been sighted and therefore the day of Arafah will be on Tuesday 26th May and Eid Ul Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday 27th May 2026, In shā’ Allāh.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of *Sikandar Hayat Khan*, *beloved father of* *Mohammed Ali Khan* (committee member), who returned to his Rabb earlier today in Pakistan.

May Allah ﷻ grant him a high and elevated place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, forgive his shortcomings, and fill his grave with light.

May Allah ﷻ grant the family Sabr-e-Jameel and strength during this difficult time.

We kindly request all brothers and sisters to remember him in your Dua-e-Maghfirah.
