All S1-S6 (Brigaders) parents were emailed about our little museum trip happening on Thursday! We will meet at 5.50pm at Nethergate (across from Queen's Hotel). We will all go by bus back to church so normal pick up at 8.30pm. Any issues let Fiona know! 💜

Please remember to leave any valuables at home when coming along to Girls’ Brigade. We want everyone to have fun without having to worry about anything getting lost or damaged.

However, please make sure to bring a water bottle or plenty of fluids with you. All the fun, games and activities we get up to each week can be thirsty work!

Back to our normal schedule last night with the girls! Everyone got placed into their squads for the year and learned all about this years topic 🌲🌳💐

The girls then got to play some save the world themed games such as survive the melting icecaps and help clean up the coral reefs 🪸

Next week we will be doing an outdoor activity in juniors, please can everyone wear sensible shoes and have a jacket 🙂

The girls had lots of fun this week, starting off with a ‘Find the Duck’ treasure hunt outside, before getting creative and helping to create our very own Explorer rule board.

We then drew around our hands to sign our agreement before heading into this years squads to come up with the 6 Golden Rules of Explorers. We’re so excited to see the board come together next week!

We finished the night with some fun games before getting creative designing drawings and characters to add to our Explorers Road Map, which will show all the amazing community heroes we’ll be visiting and learning about throughout the year.

First week back! We hope the girls had a fun filled night, it was lovely to see some new faces along side our usual girls 💙

Last night was a calm one for the juniors, the girls decorated cookies and then played some games to get know eachother again 🪂

Hope to see everyone again next week! 🙂

The week has finally arrived… our first week back at Girls Brigade! ❤️

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces joining us for our first night back, and we hope lots of new friends continue to join us throughout the year!

After having a chat about everyone’s summer holidays, we played a couple of games before introducing our exciting new topic, “People Who Help Us.”

We then worked together in groups to complete an A–Z of all the different people who help us in our communities, before drawing a picture of a community hero, explaining why we chose them and identifying an important skill they need to do their job.

A fantastic first night back, and we’re already looking forward to seeing everyone again next week! ❤️
