Our service this Sunday will be at our Fintry Worship Centre, Fintry Drive, Dundee DD4 9HE. This week Dráusio will be looking at Love in 1 Corinthians 13 - love that is not about romance or family affection but about a deeper, costly love that comes from God and changes how we treat one another. This love is patient, kind, and practical, and without it, even the most impressive church activities, gifts, or sacrifices are empty noise. It points to Jesus as the perfect
picture of this love in action: touching the untouchable, listening to the overlooked, weeping with those who grieve, serving His friends, and finally giving His life on the cross. This is the kind of love that the church is invited to receive and then share, not in our own strength, but with help from God’s Spirit. All welcome.

Our service this Sunday 7th June at 11am will be at our Douglas worship centre - Balbeggie Pl, Dundee DD4 8RD.

The Bible reading will be 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 and Dráusio will be considering how the Holy Spirit brings us together as one body, even though we are all very different. In Christ we share one Spirit, one baptism and one Lord, so no one stands outside, and no one is second class. Your background, your story, your strengths and weaknesses do not push you away; they are all gathered up into this one body that Jesus loves. When one person suffers, we all feel it, and when one person is honoured, we all can share the joy, because we truly belong to one another.

On this Pentecost Sunday, Dráusio will be exploring our deep human longing to “live as one” and show how that desire is answered not by our own efforts but by God’s work among us. As human beings, we naturally dream of a peaceful, united world. There is a real cry of the human heart for a life without barriers and conflict. The Bible shows how our attempts at unity easily become self-focused and confused when we try to build our lives on our own name and our own plans. God’s promise to “restore a pure language” hints at a time when people will once again be able to speak together in a way that brings them into true harmony.

This week Dráusio will be looking at John 14, where Jesus speaks to his friends on the night before everything falls apart. He knows they are anxious, confused, and afraid of being left alone. So he promises them something extraordinary: they will not be abandoned. God will come to them, not just beside them but within them, through the Holy Spirit. This is not about escaping the world but about God coming to make his home in ordinary people. The Spirit is God’s own presence, helping them to live the kind of life Jesus has been showing them: lives shaped by love, courage, and faithfulness. Join us on Sunday at 11am at our Fintry Worship Centre (Fintry Drive, Dundee DD4 9HE). All Welcome.

You are invited to join us this Sunday at 11am at our Douglas Worship Centre (Balbeggie Pl, Dundee DD4 8RD) – This week, Dráusio will help us to pause, to think, reflect, pray, and discuss Psalm 1. In daily life, we hear many voices from the news, friends, or worries that can lead us astray or drain our energy. This Psalm calls us to tune our hearts and minds to God's steady voice through quiet reflection, bringing real peace and purpose amid health changes, family shifts, or uncertainties. It reminds us that choosing this path daily keeps us grounded and gives to others, just as a well-rooted tree bears fruit in its time.
