Here are some of our Community Garden volunteers helping to get the garden ready for the summer. We grow our own vegetables, fruits and herbs, using these during harvest time to create meals for our lunch club! Our volunteers work hard to make sure we have some amazingly varied produce ranging from local vegetables to more exotic varieties native to Asia, in our greenhouse.

Interested in learning more? Come along to our Centre to meet our volunteers! They are always ready to welcome guests with a cup of tea and a good chat!

-- IMPORTANT UPDATE --
This is with great sadness that we are forced to stop our lunch clubs for our elderly community due to funding cut resulting from the 26/27 budget consultation.

These lunches were in place for 35 years and at the heart of our activities. Many elderly people used to come to access nutritious food, socializing and exercise at the only ethnic minority lunch club running in Dundee for everyone. It is vital that we are getting back to serving the community and we are working hard to seek other sources of funding to resume our service in delivering lunch to the elderly to break isolation, improve their wellbeing and promote inclusivity of the ethnic minority in Scotland.

This is with great sadness that we need to stop our lunch clubs due to an unprecedent funding cut as a result of the 26/27 budget consultation. We are working hard to source funding and restart our lunch provision to the elderly and their family. 😪
