You are welcome to join us on Sunday for our services of worship at 10.30am and 6.30pm. In the morning we are looking at what some call the Covenant Code in Exodus 23:1-19. Yahweh - having given the 10 Commandments through Moses - now provides more detailed guidance to help his people live well for him and in the land he will give them. The principles outlined here are as applicable now as they were then! In the evening we will take as our text Mark 6:45-56 where Jesus reveals his divinity by walking on the water - and healing many.

You are welcome to join us tomorrow for our services of worship at 10.30am and 6.30pm. During the morning service we will be looking at 2 Corinthians 6:3-13. Here, against a backdrop of people who were arguing that the blessing of God was to be seen in how victorious your life was, Paul argues that instead it is to be seen 1) In what we endure 2) In how we behave and 3) Through what we rely on. As timely a lesson now as it was then.
At our evening service we will be looking at Mark 6:30-44 where Mark records for us the feeding of the five thousand. Through this miracle Mark is introducing us to Jesus, revealing his identity as the messiah and the true bread of life. Beyond our felt needs this Jesus is able to satisfy our deepest need, the need for forgiveness and new life in Him.

We are excited to be running a Prayer Zoom Call with Open Doors UK on the 24th of September from 7:30pm–8:30pm. We'll be spending time praying for the persecuted church across the globe, and the church under pressure in Scotland 📣🌍

Open Doors UK are an international ministry, serving persecuted Christians and churches worldwide by supplying Bibles, leadership training, literacy programmes, livelihood support and advocacy services, and seeking to mobilise the church in the UK & Ireland to serve Christians living under religious persecution 💜

Join us on the 24th of September on Zoom as we come together to hear from Open Doors, learn more about the realities facing persecuted Christians around the world, and most importantly, pray. This will be an opportunity to stand alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ, bringing their needs before God and praying for strength, courage, protection and hope 🌐

Whether you regularly pray for the persecuted church or have never joined a prayer gathering like this before, we'd love for you to join us. Come ready to pray, listen and stand together as the church! 🙏

You are welcome to join us on Sunday (16 August) for our services of worship at 10.30am and 6.30pm. In the morning our theme will surround Psalm 134, the last of the psalms of ascent, marking the arrival of the pilgrims in Jerusalem and the Sanctuary. It is a short psalm, but is filled with the theme of blessing. Let’s pray that the blessing of God’s presence would be felt by all of us this day. We will conclude the morning’s worship around the Lord’s Table. If you know and love Christ we warmly invite you to participate. In the evening we resume our studies in Mark’s Gospel looking at chapter 6v14-29, where John the Baptist is put to death by the wicked Herod Antipas. Hell hates a challenge, but the work of the gospel proceeds.

UCCF Scotland are having an event on Monday 24th August for all young people who are about to head off to university in September to help equip them for living for Jesus as university students and to help them meet other young people going to the same university as them. If your church has any young people heading off to any Scottish university in September can you please send them this flyer to let them know the event is happening. It will be taking place in Dundee at Central Baptist Church from 10:30-16:45 and costs £9 with food provided.

We are looking forward to our services of worship on Sunday at 10.30am and 6.30pm. In the morning our lead pastor, Jim Turrent will be preaching on Psalm 24 - King of Glory, Lord of Hosts. A psalm whose likely setting was 2 Samuel 6 where King David brought the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem with great rejoicing. Our deeper joy is found in that these events prefigure Jesus! In the evening we have a visiting preacher, Pastor Derek Johnston from Hope Evangelical Church, Blairgowrie. He will be speaking on John 6 and the feeding of the 5000. All are welcome to our services.
