🌷 Dear sisters! New season, new Bible study, new monthly routine!!

As the women look forward to starting a new theme at our monthly Woman's Bible Study, we are inviting any women who have never been before to consider coming along! We will be starting a study on why God’s Word alone, Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone, and glory to God alone, are all essential for our journey with God.

If this is something you find intriguing and want to have a natter about over a cuppa, then please do come along on Monday 30th March at 10:30. You are most welcome! 🌷

"There is a story of a church who nearly split over a cracked window. These things happen sadly.

One of the stained glass windows behind the pulpit developed a huge crack. People began to speculate what had caused it.

"Surely it was the youth fellowship who were kicking a ball in the church."

"Surely it was the minister moving furniture around."

"Surely it was a lack of care from the church cleaning team."

Sides were taken. The Kirk session eventually investigated. They brought in a glazier who reported there was simply a flaw in the original glass and the heat and the cool caused the glass to crack.

That's all it was. But over a number of weeks that church had started to fall out over who had caused the crack.

Someone later commented, "It's not the cracked window that was the problem. It was the cracks that appeared in the unity in the church over a cracked window."

And that's the danger in Joshua chapter 22. A misunderstanding left unchecked threatens to fracture the people of God."

Fruit salad prepared, new baking tray purchased...even new coffee tables built! All amongst many other preparatory activities as tomorrow we're expecting about 15 men to our Men's Prayer Breakfast.

Pray for us as we reflect on the Bible and 'come boldly to the throne of our gracious God' bringing our community of Dunblane to The Lord.

It was great to have our minister and some other members be part of Easter Journey this week. The churches in Dunblane worked together to tell the story to all the Primary 5 children of what it means that Jesus died but is alive for evermore!

A thrilling day today as we marked communion and welcomed 4 new members into the congregation.

We are now halfway through our appeal and have raised £6420 of our £65,000 target so far.

We are so grateful to God and send a big thank you to all who have contributed. Please continue to pray for us.

Thanks be to God for His many blessings throughout 2025.

While we were saddened by the loss of much loved members of our church family over the last year, we are so thankful for them. We also rejoice in God's goodness In bringing new families into our congregation.

As we move forward into the new year, we pray that the Lord would grant funds to fix our church roof and extend our manse to further the work of ministry in Dunblane. We hope to be able to use our manse more for congregational and youth fellowships as we strive to grow together, welcome others, and encourage one another in the faith.

If you can help us in any way, please see the details below.

If you or your congregation would like to support this work financially, please contact us at [email protected] for bank transfer details or use the PayPal link below, adding the note 'DFC Manse'.
