Eco-Congregation Scotland will celebrate its 25th anniversary at its Annual Gathering later this month.

Many Scottish Episcopal Church congregations are part of the Eco-Congregation Scotland, a faith-based movement supporting congregations to care for the environment, in worship, in practical action and in advocacy.

The theme of the Annual Gathering this year is “Reconnecting with Creation” with an emphasis on nature and biodiversity, prayer in a time of climate crisis, and a look to May's Scottish Parliament election.

The meeting, which is free to attend and open to all, will be held at St Mattthew’s in Tay Street, Perth, on Saturday 28 March 2026, and it will also be available to view online. Doors open at 10am, with the proceedings scheduled from 10.30am to 4pm, including the Annual General Meeting held between 12 noon and 1pm.

The opening guest speaker is Sharon Hall, campaign manager for Christian charity Operation Noah, leading work on positive solutions including using Church land for climate and nature benefit. Further details on speakers and workshops are still to be announced.
