ST GEORGE’S BADMINTON CLUB 🏸

St George’s Badminton Club will meet on a Thursday evening at 7pm* in St George’s Church Hall starting from Thursday 17th September 2026.

*The start time is 8pm when the Blood Transfusion Service uses the hall once a month.

Our existing members are adults who want to enjoy exercise in a relaxed atmosphere.

New members are always welcome, even if you haven’t played for a while!

ST GEORGE’S SCOTTISH NIGHT 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Over 90 members and friends attended our St George’s Scottish Night in the Church Hall last night. It was a wonderful evening of Scottish music and dancing.

Our thanks to the piper, the band and to St George’s Social Group for their fantastic entertainment and hospitality, as always.

Thanks to everyone who attended. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

⛪️ Our offering is dedicated during the service. A collection plate is available in the foyer at the start of the service.

🛒 We welcome donations of toiletries and non-perishable foods to support the local Food Bank. Donations of dog food would also be appreciated. Please bring donations along any Sunday morning. Let’s help fill the shopping trolley as often as we can and make life a little easier for those who need our support. Thank you!

☕️ Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service. All welcome.
