Dear Lord

As this new week begins, we come before You with a humble and open heart. Thank You for the gift of life, for breath in our lungs, and for the opportunities that lie ahead. Guide our steps this week, that we may walk in wisdom, patience, and kindness in all that we do.

Grant us strength for the challenges we will face, clarity in moments of uncertainty, and peace that surpasses all understanding. Help us to be a source of encouragement to others, showing love even when it is difficult, and choosing grace over frustration.

Lord, we lift up this troubled world to You. In the midst of war and conflict, where there is fear, loss, and division, bring Your peace. Comfort those who are suffering, protect the innocent, and restore hope where it feels lost. May Your justice and mercy prevail where human efforts fall short.

We also pray for the leaders of nations. Give them wisdom beyond their own understanding, hearts that seek peace over power, and courage to do what is right rather than what is easy. Guide their decisions so they may lead with integrity, compassion, and a genuine desire for unity and healing.
Help us not to be overwhelmed by the weight of the world, but instead to trust in Your greater plan. Remind us that even small acts of love and faithfulness matter, and that we can be a light in the places we are planted.
Go before us in this week, Lord. Walk beside us in every moment, and dwell within us always.

Amen

Lauren Chandler wants to read you her children's book, Goodbye to Goodbyes...Jesus knew how scary it is when someone gets really sick. He knew how sad it is ...
