Why not drop in and see the place where Charles Rennie Mackintosh chose to get married? Priestly vestments/garments will be on display. Church volunteers will be on hand to share insights into the building's history, architecture, and artistic connections. Admission is free, and everyone is warmly invited.

Songs of Praise at St Augustine’s
Tomorrow, Thursday 20 August at 7:30 PM
Come along and join us for a very special Songs of Praise service! All Dumbarton churches have chosen favourite hymns, and there will be readings and prayers, with refreshments at “half-time.”
What a thrill to have every local church involved. It’s an event not to be missed!

Thank you so much to everyone who supported St Augustine's afternoon fundraiser earlier today. Together, we raised an incredible £1,000 for "The Daisy Project" (the charity chosen by Bishop Nick for the last Lenten Appeal) — and this is on top of what we already raised!

On this Palm Sunday, blustery winds and rainy weather led us to adjust our plans. We began the service inside the Sanctuary with the blessing of our palm crosses, handwoven in the Masasi region of Tanzania. Together, we sang "Hosannas" and acclaimed Christ, remembering his entry into Jerusalem as Lord and King. Our thoughts turned to our brothers and sisters in the Middle East, who were unable to hold their traditional Procession of Palms—not because of the weather, but because of war. After listening to the Passion Narrative, we shared in Holy Communion, seeking the strength to follow Christ in the days ahead. We invite you to join us on this journey throughout these holy days.
