We have a special coming together of Dumbarton and Vale of Leven Baptist churches on Sunday morning from 11.15am. We are legally now Dumbarton and Leven Valley Baptist Church and we will covenant together and celebrate officially on Sunday. If you have ever been part of either church then this might be a good time to come back and see what is happening. The future is looking very positive.

Prayer Time early on Friday morning. Always a great way to start the day.

Awake Dumbarton will be meeting in Costa Coffee on Dumbarton High Street at 7.15am on Friday 5th June 2026. We will be praying for the people of Dumbarton and the local area using Psalms 145 as our focus. Please join us if you are able.

Not only do we have an incredible Sport themed Family Night with pizza from 5pm on Saturday but we are also launching our free 'Grace' Children's library of inspirational and faith based books. If you borrow one a month for 5 months you get a voucher to buy another one of your choice. What a great way to spend a Saturday evening 😄

Prayer time this Friday morning 🙏

As this Friday is the first Friday of the month, we'll be praying together in Costa in Dumbarton High Street from 7.15am and working our way through Psalm 16. It's early we know, but it always feels like time well spent.

We gathered up dozens of prayer requests yesterday from adults and children alike. The odd one was a bit difficult to understand 😄 but we are grateful for them all. Please continue to uphold each other in prayer. It is a very practical way to demonstrate our love and unity.

We have an action packed all age service tomorrow from 11.15am plus the usual Praise & Prayer gathering at St Augustine's hall from 7-8pm.

During our celebrations yesterday we had the sad job of saying goodbye to the much loved, Obisesan family, who are moving away from Dumbarton. Another church will be truly blessed when they walk through the doors (photo shown with permission).

We had a great turn out today in the hail / snow / rain and (praise God), sunshine 🔆 right on baptism time. It was truly a happy Easter in Bellsmyre.
