💥 NEW SCHOOL YEAR AT THE 10:30💥

Children’s Church & Sunday Youth are back tomorrow at the 10:30!
We will be meeting in church for the first part of the service then going to our groups in the centre.

New groups for the new year…
🐑 LAMBS (babies - Reception) meeting in Pennine
🐏 SHEEP (Year 1-3) meeting in Westmorland 1
🕊️ DOVES (Year 4-6) meeting in Westmorland 2
💥 YOUTH (Year 7-13) gather in the Atrium

👋 all parents have been sent an update about registration for their children - it’s a little bit different to last year so please check the email and let us know if you have any problems. If you’re new or your child is moving to a new group, come up to the centre to say hello to the team who will help you

We’re looking forward to sharing 2026-27 with you all! 🫶

🌱 our next Grounds Day is on Saturday and we would love you to join us. There are lots of jobs for all ages and abilities, including a bug hotel craft 🐝

🌟 we have been celebrating the Class of 2026 with St. John’s Primary School this morning.

It was great to welcome the whole school, staff and families into church for the Leavers Service and to celebrate Year 6 together as part of the big family of God.

We will be praying for Year 6 as they get ready to move on to secondary school, that they will be confident and know that God is with them in all the highs and lows 🙏

To parents and carers: we pray that you will also feel confident about your children’s next steps and feel equipped to support them in all they do 🙏

👋 you are all part of the St. John’s family and we would love to you to join us for All Age Sundays throughout the summer at 10:30am | interactive worship for all ages and stages together

🥳 KIDS & YOUTH SUMMER PARTY 🥳

We’re celebrating the end of the school year at Children’s Church and Sunday Youth tomorrow! Just a few things for parents/carers… ⬇️

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 we will be together for the whole service | come and find us in Westmorland from 10:15 | pre schoolers are welcome to join us but should be accompanied by an adult

🏅☀️ it will be our school sports day with lots of games to play together | we will be outside for some activities so if the weather is sunny please ensure your child is dressed appropriately and has suncream on before attending

🍦we will be having ice pops at the end of our time together | if this is a problem, or your child has any dietary needs, please let us know

🙌 there will be communion at the end of the 10:30 but we will staying together until the end of the service | if you want your child to be part of communion please come and collect them at the appropriate time of the service

😎 from next week our 10:30 service will be an All Age service until September
