One of our members, Mairi, celebrated her 102nd birthday last Friday, with the King, who was visiting Dingwall for the town's celebrations as a Royal Burgh for 800 years. Her care home staff took a number of residents to the town for a glimpse of HRH. Not sure they expected such a close encounter 🫅😀. Congratulations, Mairi, on looking so young for such a grand age!

We pray for this wee boy and his family at this difficult time. May they truly know God as their refuge and strength. Psalm 46.

Free Church Moderator, Rev Calum Iain Macleod, has shared this urgent prayer request:

I would like to reach out to our wider church family with an urgent prayer request for Caleb, a very sick little boy aged two who has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (Neuroblastoma).

Caleb’s parents are Rev Andrew and Eilidh Macleod. Andrew (Mowgli) is minister of New City Church Dunfermline.

Some of you are already aware of Caleb’s circumstances following an earlier appeal for prayer from Rev Derek Lamont, a friend and colleague of Andrew.

Caleb is currently having chemotherapy and is receiving critical care at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children and Young People, Edinburgh.

Please pray for Caleb and encourage others to prayer. Pray for effective medical intervention. Pray for recovery and healing. Pray for strength and resilience for Andrew and Eilidh, along with Isla, Caleb’s big sister, at this extremely difficult and anxious time for them all as a family. Pray that they will continue to know God’s near presence, his peace, and the embrace of his everlasting arms.

Please consider having a concentrated time of prayer for Caleb at your midweek prayer meeting and congregational prayer groups.

What a great way to start the summer holidays!

Our annual holiday club is back the first week of the school holidays. Monday 6th to Friday 10th July 10am till 12pm for all children at the end of P1 to P7 at the Church Hall, Kilmore Road Drumnadrochit.

Bright Sparks is back on Friday 19 June, Friday 26 June and Friday 3 July; 2pm - 3pm, for all Primary School children.
Come along to the church hall, Kilmore Road Drumnadrochit, for Bible Stories, crafts, games, songs and Sparky.

We were pleased to welcome some cute visitors at our Lambing Thanksgiving service yesterday. In his sermon, our minister pointed us to Jesus, the Lamb on the throne who is also our Shepherd. Revelation 7 v 17.

We will have our annual Lambing Thanksgiving service this coming Sunday, giving thanks to God for his care over our farmers and their flocks during the ups and downs of the lambing season. Why not come along and join us? You would be most welcome 🐑🙏😊 .
