See you Sunday?👋

🥳It’s Pentecost Sunday, one of the most significant moments in the Christian calendar, often seen as the birth of the church.

Pentecost is about hope, courage, community, and God’s presence with ordinary people.

If you’d like to reflect beforehand, you might enjoy reading Acts 2:2–12 and 42–47 (we'll pop the verses in the comments) which capture the heart of the Pentecost story and the kind of community it inspired.

Following our recent Journey into Prayer, we’ll also be making space to share encouragement, prayer, and stories of hope and healing.

Whether faith is something familiar to you or something you’re exploring and are curious about, you’d be very welcome to join us.

🕥10:30am
📍Find us at 4 Lea Road, Dronfield, S18 1SB (street parking only)
🎹🎤🎻 There will be music and a time of reflection 🙏
☕️Refreshments will be served afterwards

What if generosity isn’t really about money… but about freedom?

✍️ Midweek Musing

In a world constantly telling us to buy more, keep more, and protect what’s ours, it’s easy to end up stressed, dissatisfied, and chasing the next thing. But studies — and Jesus — point to a different way: generosity actually changes us from the inside out.

Could living with open hands lead to a happier, healthier, more meaningful life?

What does the cross say to you?✝️

🎧 Song of the Week – “Message of the Cross” by Martin Smith

For some people, the cross is just a religious symbol. For others, it represents guilt, suffering, or difficult experiences with church. But for us, the cross represents something completely different: forgiveness, freedom, and a fresh start.

"The cross was the shame of the world, but the glory of God"

What shapes our relationship with money, possessions and generosity? 🤔

👋 See You Sunday?

This Sunday we’re continuing our journey of:
Knowing Jesus • Becoming like Jesus • Making Jesus known

We’ll be exploring the spiritual practice of generosity. Jesus spoke a lot about money, possessions and the condition of the heart.

In a culture constantly telling us we need more, how do we, as Christians, learn to live differently?

No guilt. No pressure. Just honest conversation, reflection, scripture and encouragement as we learn together.

You’d be so welcome to join us this Sunday 💛

🕥 This Sunday at 10.30am
📍Find us at 4 Lea Road, Dronfield, S18 1SB (street parking only)
🎵📖There will be music and a time of study and discussion
☕️Refreshments will be served at the beginning

Do you believe God still speaks today?

✍️ Midweek Musing

Jesus spoke about the Holy Spirit as our comforter, helper, counsellor, and encourager — God’s presence with us in everyday life, in grief, uncertainty, relationships, and the quiet prompting to care for someone else.

Have you ever experienced these types of moments, maybe you didn't always know how to explain them?

What does the name Jesus mean to you?🤔

🎧 Song of the Week – “Jesus, What a Beautiful Name”

It’s interesting how certain names instantly carry emotion. Some remind us of people we love 🥰(and some we don't!😣). Some bring back memories. Some names have shaped history forever.

Jesus is one of those names

For some people, His name brings comfort and hope. For others, it raises questions, scepticism, or maybe nothing at all. For others, it's a swear word

But whatever you think about Him, it’s hard to deny the impact Jesus has had on the world🌎

“Joy and peace, strength and hope, grace that blows all fear away.”

This is what Jesus' name means to us, echoed in the song of the week, and we think a lot of people are searching for those things right now...

What if God still speaks today?

👋 See You Sunday?

How do you recognise something spiritual? How do you know when to act on it? And what happens when you do?

This Sunday at our 'Journey into Prayer' gathering, we’re exploring who the Holy Spirit (God's Spirit) is, how there are those moments of guidance, conviction, comfort, or unexpected nudges in our lives

Some of us have stories of our lives changing because of those quiet nudges. Some of us have ignored them at the time and wondered afterwards....

Wherever you’re coming from — curious, sceptical, exploring faith, or already convinced — you’re welcome to come and listen, question, reflect, or share

🕥10:30am
📍Find us at 4 Lea Road, Dronfield, S18 1SB (street parking only)

Love. Pray. Give. Go.

It was so good to be together on Sunday and a real privilege to hear from Joy and Steve from Sheffield Besom and how they put those 4 points above into action.

✍️ Midweek Musing

They shared how a simple idea (helping people in need with good-quality household items) has grown into something deeply impactful. What stood out wasn’t just the practical support, but the way it brings people together, builds relationships, and changes hearts on both sides.

Their approach is refreshingly simple: connect those who have with those who need, trust God for provision, and step outside the church walls into the community. The stories they shared were inspiring, full of generosity, surprise, and quiet transformation.

If you’re curious to learn more or get involved, take a look below 👇

Do you have a heart for people who are living on the margins? Do you have time, skills, money or things that you would like to share with them? Do you feel that nothing you could do would make a difference to them? If so then we would love to share our experience with you. Do be in touch if you woul...

🎶Song of the Week - “Beautiful One” by Tim Hughes

“Powerful, so powerful, Your glory fills the skies
Your mighty works displayed for all to see”

These lyrics highlight that sense of awe many of us feel when we look up at the sky or take in the beauty of the world around us🌎

🎧Give this song a listen and take a few minutes to pause and reflect on God's mighty works: https://youtu.be/-iChhCYVm0Y?si=fW6P2fcparUjq58R

💭 What’s something you’ve seen recently that made you stop in awe?
