The Lighthouse Church Dover

It’s with great sadness that we have to close The Lighthouse Church here in Dover for a period of time to see what next steps are.
There’s no nastiness involved with us closing, just i’ve been leading/ preaching for a long time alone with no help.
The safety of the flock is vital & 1 man bands are wrong as this can lead to al kinds of problems with safeguarding and burnout.

So until i can get others to help with leading & some musicians we’ve taken the step to disperse to other congregations until we can Reform, Regroup, Resume meetings.
we would all Value prayer just now as been tough few years standing firm thru Covid etc.
There are times when God says simply, "Wait...no further. Just wait"
And this is one of those times.

Tomorrow at The Lighthouse Church we are having a special time during the service where we shall be praying for Ukraine.
The theme for the service is Peace and how it can only be found through faith in Jesus.

Good afternon everyone.
I would like to send out a prayer request for us here at The Lighthouse Church in Dover.
For sometime now we have had no musicians to lead us in worship each week and have had to reply on technology by playing videos and iSing worship songs on screen.
Its been ok but we have reached the pont where we really miss being led in worship and want this to change.
So, we would like to ask you to pray that the Lord will bring us a musician to play and lead us as a church each week as we head into a new season of church life.
If you play a guitar or keyboard ( we have a keyboard here) then i would love to hear from you about joining us on the mission to reach the lost here in Dover.
