Let's put it this way: No one deserves unresponsive communication.

When you speak with a friend, family member, or work associate, you expect a natural flow of conversation. Trust is then built.

A relationship without effective communication is fruitless.

Exodus 25:6 KJV
"Oil for the light..."

As spices are for sweet incense, so is olive oil for light, to keep it burning.

Olives are crushed to release oil; Jesus was crushed for sins to bring the Holy Spirit of God to believers.

In the Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25) we shared in yesterday's devotional, oil in the lamps represents readiness, spiritual life, and a sustained connection to God.

Therefore, let the Spirit of the Lord keep you in constant relationship with Him without ceasing.

The Parable of the Ten Virgins was a wake-up call for every believer in Christ's Gospel.

As you are watching for the coming of Yeshua, also consider being mindful of lifestyle, choices, habits and attitudes in the community.

In the story, five bridesmaids are prepared with extra oil for their lamps, while five are foolish and run out.

When the groom arrives unexpectedly, only the wise, prepared ones enter the wedding banquet. The other foolish five missed their chance.

The Lord uses this to tell His followers to stay spiritually alert and ready for His return, since no one knows the exact time.
Keep the oil of daily meditation in His Word. Pray without ceasing.
Sin no more. Fellowship with other believers for inspiration and emotional wellness. Finally, let brotherly and sisterly love continue.

With these spiritual action plans, you're certain of entering the eternal banquet when He comes or takes you home.

โ€œThey are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.โ€

Whosoever is born of God is of God. (See John 1:12-13)

Even though we own the latest spectacular estates in different countries and have countless wealth on planet earth, the Lord Jesus Christ emphasised,
'We are not of this world just as He isn't.'

"But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives.
And we are eagerly waiting for Him to return as our Saviour."
(Philippians 3:20)

Let us walk and abide by this perspective.

Apostle Paul encouraged in Romans 12:1-2,
โ€œ1 Therefore I urge you, brothers (and sisters), on account of Godโ€™s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.โ€

โ€œI do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.โ€

Every human is equal and alike in mannerisms.

God created us in His own image. (Genesis 1:27)

He identified us as male and female to marry and merry. (Matthew 19:4)

Yahweh made all provisions needed for humanity available in the Garden of Eden. But sin stripped us of the privileges. (Study Genesis 2 and 3)

Therefore, Christ explicitly prayed that believers not be taken out of the world, meaning they are called to live, work, and engage with society with a purposeful mission.

And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.
15 Iโ€™m not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.
16 They do not belong to this world any more than I do.
17 Make them holy by Your truth; teach them Your Word, which is truth.โ€ Amen.

โ€œThe Lord...say to His people, โ€œBehold, I am going to send you grain and new w**e and oil,
And you will be satisfied in full with them;
And I will never again make you an object of ridicule among the [Gentile, unbelievers] nations.โ€

One of John Newton's ancient hymns goes,

1 Begone, unbelief,
My Saviour is near,

By prayer let me wrestle,

Be hopeful and firm in faith. With a fervent prayer and possibly some fasting, raise an altar of restoration to receive the mercy of God and take back what belongs to you from the hands of the visible and invisible enemies. The Lord has declared restoration of His abundant blessings; don't delay.

Joel 2:23, 25 says,
โ€œ23 Be glad then, you children of Zion,
And rejoice in the Lord your God;
For He has given you the former rain faithfully,
And He will cause the rain to come down for youโ€”
The former rain, and the latter rain in the first (๐ง๐ž๐ฐ) ๐ง๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก.
25 So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust,
My great army which I sent among you.โ€

๐๐‘๐€๐˜๐„๐‘: I decree and declare: Your losses shall be restored. Your needs shall be supplied according to God's riches through Christ Jesus. Amen!

ALTAR OF RESTORATION

John 10:10 BSB
โ€œ...I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness.โ€

Christ has raised for the righteous the altar of restoration. Be comforted and hopeful in Him.
When you lose a job unrighteously. When you've been let down or disappointed. When the favour you gave has turned to grief. When your debtors are refusing or are unable to pay. When you have lost a treasure through ignorance or carelessness. When your health seems to deteriorate. Or your property has been stolen, and you seek recovery.

Bear in mind that it is the devil's job to steal, destroy and kill. He goes about to and fro the face of the earth seeking whom to attack and destroy destinies.

Study these Scriptures:
a)
โ€œThe Lord said to Satan, โ€œWhere have you come from?โ€ Satan answered the Lord, โ€œFrom roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.โ€ Jobโ€ฌ โ€ญ1โ€ฌ:โ€ญ7โ€ฌ โ€ญNIVโ€ฌโ€ฌ
b) "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." 1 Peter 5:8 NIV

Here is the good news! Rejoice with songs of victory; Yeshua Hamashiach has declared the dominion of restoration over every scheme and work of Satan, saying,

โ€œThe thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].โ€
