📢 Upcoming Peacemaking Event
Restorative Justice
📅 Tuesday, 16th September
🕖 7:00 PM
📍 St Mary’s Church
Join us for an insightful discussion led by Jacqueline Wilson on how Restorative Justice and Restorative Mediation are practised here in Dorset.
✅ What is Restorative Justice?
It brings together those harmed by crime and those responsible, supported by trained facilitators. Dorset Police offers this service to reduce re-offending and help victims heal.
✅ What about Restorative Mediation?
Outside the criminal justice system, this approach helps resolve conflicts, build relationships, and repair harm in a supportive environment. It’s even been successful in resolving disputes between neighbours — making it relevant for all of us.
✨ Come along and explore how these approaches can make a difference in our community.
📧 For more information, contact John Burn at [email protected].
We look forward to seeing you there!
