Is Christianity just a hobby? Is church only a social club?

Join us this Sunday at 10:30am as we think about that by looking more at the letter Paul wrote to the Romans. When we choose to accept the death of Jesus to pay for our sins, we are free from living a sinful way and are free to live for God!

A recording of the sermon will be put onto our website later on the Sunday:

What is the greatest gift you have ever gotten? What would be the best gift someone could give you?

Join us this Sunday at 10:30am to think about what the greatest gift really is. In the book of Romans, it says the gift of God is eternal life given by Christ Jesus. Perfect, eternal life. Is there any better gift than that? Why would God give that? Come along on Sunday and find out more.

What does real freedom look like to you? Can you ever find real freedom?

Join us this coming Sunday at 10:30am to see where Christians find real freedom.
As the Bob Dylan song says 'you gotta serve somebody'. When you serve God and trust in Jesus, you are free from death and have eternal life through Jesus. Come along and explore more!

Do you think this question is true?

Join us this Sunday at 10:30am as we answer this question by looking at the book of Romans in the Bible. Should we just do as we like? God gave us everything, so should we not offer ourselves to him in worship?

Is there one common story of humanity?

Come along this Sunday at 10:30am to see what the Bible has to say about this. In the book of Romans, it talks about the first man Adam. In the beginning, sin came into the world through Adam, but Jesus came to deal with the problem of sin. What does this mean? Come and find out more.

Do you think God loves you? Could he?

Join us this Sunday at 10:30am as we see what the book of Romans in the Bible, has to say about this. Does God love you? He sent his son Jesus to die for you so we can be right before God and have life with him forever, that takes amazing love!

Is it easy to be friends with God? Is being friends with God something that is even possible?

This Sunday at 10:30am, we'll be thinking about just that question by looking more at the book of 1 Samuel. What can make us friends with God? We need to repent (turn away from our sin and the bad stuff we do) and believe in God.

Thousands of years after this book was written, we meet Jesus, who died for us. When we trust in him, we can be friends with God!

Is it right for God to get angry? Isn't he meant to be loving to all people?

This Sunday at 10:30am, we'll think about whether God should ever get angry by continuing in the book of 1 Samuel. When people don't listen to God, he will judge them. God is just- his anger is not a result of a hot temper, rather he is slow to anger and abounding in love.

There are sadly stories in the news of religious leaders letting people down- some in very big ways.

This Sunday at 10:30am, we'll be thinking about what the Bible has to say when religious leaders let us down. In 1 Samuel, Eli's sons, who are meant to be spiritual leaders, treat God with contempt. God will always judge false spiritual leaders. We'll think about how good it is God sent Jesus to show us the true way to him.

When you're downhearted, it can seem impossible to feel any kind of hope.

Join us this Sunday at 10:30am as we think what hope there is, by looking at the Bible book of 1 Samuel. We meet a woman called Hannah who feels hopeless. She trusts in the God who hears the cries of those who love him and finds hope again.

This week, we've had a great time at our Shipwrecked holiday club with over 30 children, looking at the story of Jonah!

This Sunday at 10:30am, come along and hear about what the children have been up to. We'll also see how God forgives all people who repent. It's the same for us, when we trust in Jesus.

A recording of the sermon will be put onto our website later on the Sunday:
