It's been a very busy year in Church this year with a variety of events and celebrations taking place.

Some of you may know that we continue to have a major problem with the roof and after a thorough inspection in the Summer we have been told the expected cost of replacing the entire roof and making the church watertight is between and £200,000 and £250,000!

We will be looking at applying for grants from a variety of sources to help with this cost. If anybody has any experience in this area and is willing to help in whatever way they can, please contact us, we would love to hear from you.

Also if anybody has any fundraising ideas for 2026, again, please contact us.

We also wish to Thank everybody who has so generously donated to our Just Giving Page over the past 12 months, we really do appreciate every single donation.

The emergency repairs to the roof have now been completed and we can no longer see daylight through the roof and the Lady Chapel is now protected from the elements 🤗🤗🤗

Many thanks to everyone who has donated to our Just Giving fund🤗🤗🤗

Our next step is to replace the boiler which is on its last legs and to continue with must needed repairs to the roof to make the whole church water-tight.

Work is now underway to carry out emergency repairs to the roof above the Lady Chapel. Unfortunately the roof is in a dire state and needs a lot of work to repair it and protect our historical church from the elements.

We appreciate all the help we have received so far, but there is still a long way to go and ask if you could support us in our efforts to raise the funds needed.

After Christmas we will be looking to start a fundraising group to look at ways we can raise the money, any time that can be given or just ideas would be fantastic - look out for the notice into the New Year and come and help us to preserve this amazing building 🤗🤗
