Ahlul Bayt Series - Part 2

Join us for part 2 of the Ahlul Bayt Series where we will take a take a close look into the life and legacy of Imam Hasan b. Ali (radiyAllahu anhuma).

This is a topic often ignored and as a result, a large percentage of Muslims are completely oblivious to the biographical account of this great luminary of Ahlul Bayt.

*There will be 10 books that will be given away following a Q&A. Be sure to bring your children, this event is open to brothers and sisters.*

Ahlul Bayt Series

Join us on this new series as we delve into the lives of the Imams from the prophetic household.

On Sunday the 3rd May, we will start the series with the legacy of Sayyiduna Ali al-Murtada. Our keynote speaker is Mawlana Nizam Ashraf Ashrafi (Bolton) who is an excellent young scholar who hails from a family of scholars and teachers.

Bring your children and let them bask in the remembrance of those who are accepted and beloved in the court of Allah (Most High).

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Our dear brother hafiz Ahmed Elkhalifa is raising £9000 for a water project in Sudan. Al Ulayqah is his home village in the White Nile state in central Sudan.

This village has more than 400 families. There is a water well with a pump but the water is not suitable to drink due to high levels of salt and the pump itself needs repair. We are collecting to setup a water desalination plant to resolve this issue. InshaAllah this is will be permanent solution for the village that will serve them for many years.

InshaAllah there will be a collection for this project in Sultania Masjid at Jumuah 3rd April

Sally Jameson ,MP for Doncaster Central, joined the daily Ramadhan Iftar at Jamia Masjid Sultania on Friday, hosted by the DCD volunteers team.

The annual open Iftar welcomes people from all walks of life, including local community members, visitors from out of town, families settling in the area, and young and old, for a shared meal and celebration.
Over 100 people come together daily, enjoying a space where the mosque brings people together to meet, connect and celebrate throughout Ramadhan.

شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَٰتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ ٱلشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۗ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُمُ ٱلْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ ٱلْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا۟ ٱلْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
Surah Baqarah Ayah 185.
The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.
