We are celebrating Harvest today!
It's worth zooming in on the image to see if you can find various things.
A diversity of gifts which reflect our regular support for Baby Basics, the Food Bank, the Hygiene Bank, the M25 Project and the Shoe Box Appeal.
The beautiful flowers, the representation of the harvest moon which was so beautiful last night and a big lump of coal from Blacker Hill.
And amongst the gifts - David's notes and David's props including things to remind us of some of God's greatest gifts to us - light, water and the regular pattern of the seasons.

It's lovely to be part of such a fantastic community event each year. Sprotbrough Scarecrow Festival

Sprotbrough Scarecrow Festival has been a much loved part of village life for 11 years and SMC - Sprotbrough Methodist Church have been involved for as long as anyone can remember. They open their doors for refreshments, homemade cakes and act as the voting station, as well holding outdoor worship to bring church to the people. Leanne Mallory from the church tells us the full story.

What if it's never too late?

This Sunday at SMC, we’re gathering for Covenant Sunday — with Communion, worship and a look at what might be one of Jesus’ most challenging parables.
It’s a story about grace, generosity and the way God sees things differently to us.

But ultimately, it’s about something bigger:
The sheer privilege of knowing Jesus.
The incredible joy of serving Him.

No matter where you’re at in the journey, there’s a place for you.

A warm welcome to join us for Holy Communion on Monday 21st September 2pm

You’re warmly invited to worship with us today!

Join us at SMC at 10:00am, either onsite or online, as we explore:
Forgiving, Forgiven Faith
Matthew 18:21–35

How much have we been forgiven? And what does God’s forgiveness mean for the way we forgive others?

Through Jesus’ words and the story of the unforgiving servant, we’ll reflect on grace, mercy, forgiveness, and the faith that flows from knowing we are forgiven.

Whether you’re joining us in person or from home, you’re very welcome. Come as you are, and let’s worship together. ❤️

10:00am | Onsite & Online
We’d love to see you!
