St Laurence Church, Adwick Le Street dates back to 1150AD (at least parts of it do!) and its made of out of huge blocks of stone. It's really hard to heat in the Winter, but when it's hot outside, it's lovely and cool inside.

Come and find out at 4pm today (Sunday 24th) - Church@4, staying cool!

Oh and it's Whitsun (Pentecost) so wear something bright!

This Saturday (23rd May) we're going on a walk covering all four parishes that are a part of the Redhouse Partnership

We're starting at St Michael & All Angels Church Skelbrooke, with tea and coffee at 10am, leaving about 10:30am to walk to St Michael's Skellow in The Parish of Owston, Carcroft and Skellow.

We should be there around 11:45am and not leaving till 1pm so bring a packed lunch (or nip along to the shops).

We're then walking through Carcroft and heading for St Laurence Church, Adwick Le Street aiming to arrive about 1:30pm.

We'll be leaving there about 2pm and hopefully by 2:30pm we'll have our feet up at All Saints Church in Woodlands for a cup of tea or coffee and a job well done.
