This September, our Focal Minister, Andy, is taking on an incredible challenge to walk 300,000 steps throughout the month! 🎉
Andy is doing this to raise vital funds to support both St John the Baptist Church, Edlington and St Jude’s Church, Hexthorpe.

Welcome to Giving Month!

This month, we are taking time to reflect on the importance of giving, generosity and supporting the life of our churches.
Our churches are more than buildings — they are places of worship, prayer, fellowship, welcome and service to our communities. Everything we do is made possible through the generosity of our congregation and supporters.

Throughout Giving Month, we will be sharing some of the different ways you can support our churches, including the Sunday collection, giving envelopes and Gift Aid, Direct Debit, card payments and one-off gifts.

There is no set amount that anyone has to give. Every gift, large or small, makes a difference. What matters is giving prayerfully and generously, according to what we are able to offer.

“God loves a cheerful giver.”

Tomorrow at our 11.15 Sunday Mass we hear the familiar story of the Feeding of the Five Thousand. We will consider the invitation God gives to all of us to share in the Heavenly Banquet where every hunger and thirst will be satisfied.

Join us today at 11.30 for Bible Study!

This summer we’re going to be looking at the first five books of the Bible - Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. We’ll be looking closely at some of the most famous as well as some lesser known stories from these books and thinking about their effect on what we believe as Christians.

Anyone is welcome to join, even if you’ve never been to church before. There’ll be tea, coffee and snacks, the opportunity to ask questions or just to sit and listen and take it all in.
