Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche in Gomde Rangjung Yeshe Gomde California ! join Online!

We are overjoyed to announce that Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche will once again grace Gomde California with his presence and offer teachings spanning the complete Buddhist path — from foundational view and conduct to the most profound Vajrayana meditation instructions. Rinpoche is renowned for making the deepest Dharma vivid and accessible, and students travel from around the world to receive this living transmission.

The seminar will also include the Ocean of Amrita Puja (Ngakso) for the mending of Vajrayana commitments, presided over by Rinpoche on June 14th.

Join us on Sunday 31st May, 10am–3pm, for a day of sutra recitations and a lovely lunch together on the auspicious day of Saga Dawa Düchen.

Saga Dawa Düchen is one of the most important days in the Tibetan Buddhist calendar, commemorating the Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and parinirvana. It’s considered an especially meaningful time to practise, make aspirations and dedicate merit for the benefit of all beings.

On the day, we’ll gather to recite the Lalitavistara Sutra, also known as The Play in Full, a beautiful sutra that tells the story of how Buddha Shakyamuni manifested in this world and attained enlightenment.

If you or someone you know would be interested in volunteering at Gomde UK, come along! It’s a lovely chance to meet some of our local volunteers, hear about the projects they are involved in, and find out more about the many ways to get involved.
