'I've come to pour my praise on him, like oil '

This image depicts pretty much my posture in the last 11 years of my life.

Without my saviour holding my hand through it all, without me being able to pour the pain and the hurt out onto him, knowing that he can handle it and will take it from me, im not sure where I would be right now.

'The moment he met me, wrapped his loving arms around me', ive not been the same.

The last 11 years have been the most blessed and wonderful but far from easy.... we have seen multiples deaths of siblings and parents, illness in our children, illness in my own body, emotional struggles, financial struggles, ministry and the challenges that come with that, friends come and go, hurts from past leaders, major battles of the mind and currently believing for healing of one of our boys.

What would I do and where would I be without my saviour!

So I've come to pour my praise on Him for being my rock and my salvation, for being our healer, comfort and strength.

I ask sometimes if he's really there with me through it all and then I am reminded of what he spoke to me so long ago.

Be bold and courageous, do not be dismayed or afraid, I will never leave you nor forsake you, i am with you wherever you go.

So I will continue on bended knee to pour my oil of praise onto him for he is worthy. ❤️

I have something to share with you and the women's ministry.

I sit here now praying for you all and what comes to mind is the story of the 10 virgins in Matthew 25.

I have lead and served in this ministry for nearly 3 years but now a new season is coming.

We know God works in seasons and this has been a season of serving whole heartedly the women that are a part of this ministry.

It has been a blessing and a challenge, God has used this time to refine me greatly on a personal level.
He's used me to love you and serve you and hopefully encourage you in your walk with Jesus.

I think of the 10 virgins, 5 that are brightly shining with the Holy Spirit, with readiness and preparation for the Lords return and then the 5 who let their light burnt out, who become dull to the things of the Lord and when he returns are not ready and do not enter into heaven with him.

I encourage you..... be ready, burn brightly, stay in the shadow of the almighty, close to him, resting in him, learning of him.
Our relationship with him is the most important thing, not what we do for him but our relationship with him.

Now has come the time for me to rest and abide in him and less of the 'doing'

What will change...
There will be a larger team running the powerhouse womens ministry and I will play a part in that but there will be more women part of it, bring their gifts to serve you all.

This is so exciting 😄 we are still going to love you and serve you and help you grow.

We will bring you more information when we have it and there is quite likely going to be a community group set up as this one closes.

Like I say, im not disappearing and will still be part of the team.

Exciting times ahead and a new season for many.

I love you all and have been honoured to serve you all in this way. ❤️

As ive been learning and studying about the 9 gifts of the Spirit....yesterday I was looking into open doors to the enemy, how we can let the enemy in or he has an access point that we may even be unaware of.
Unforgiveness is a huge open door to the enemy. This morning I'm sat here making a list of everyone that comes to mind that have hurt me in some way, even the ones I have spoken out forgiveness over and at the side ive written why or how they have hurt me.
Ive been asking the Holy Spirit to bring people to mind that I may have forgotten.
As I'm drawing to the end of my list, the Holy Spirit shows me.... myself..... this isnt the first time I have known ive had to forgive myself for something but as I read through all the reasons why these people have hurt me, I realise something..... ive hurt myself far more then anyone on that list has hurt me.
The awful words people have said to me and things they have accused me of, pail in comparison to what I have said to myself over the years, the way people have treated me and discarded me, is nothing compared to what ive done to my body and what ive allowed.

Most of this has been when I wasn't aware of the damage I was causing to myself with my actions and words but even some when I was made aware of the power of my words.

Im the main person I have to forgive.

There is freedom in forgiveness and it closes the door to the enemy.

Forgiveness is a decision not a feeling and even if you have to say it out loud more then once, continue to declare it untill you have truly forgiven.

This is the day that the Lord has made, i shall rejoice and be glad in it!
Psalms 118.24

I had a vision in worship once... I was a young girl sat on our heavenly Father's knee... we were in heaven.
He was so loving and safe and Jesus was there smiling at me, then he takes my hand, I look at the Father and he nods and smiles as if to give me the go ahead....
Jesus playfully pulls me off Fathers knee and we start running and dancing, Jesus is spinning me around and laughing... theres a stream coming out of the Throne where Father is sat... we run into the stream and Jesus starts to splash me playfully and we are laughing and dancing and having fun. No care, no concerns just pure Joy in his presence.
I run back and climb back on to the Fathers knee and cuddle up.

It has possibly been the most beautiful vision ive ever seen.

In Him there is Joy, peace, safety and so much more.

When you get time to spend quietly with him, ask him to show you.
