Fois shiorraidh don Urramach Iain Moireasdan a rinn cuid de na seirbhisean mu dheireadh againn mus robh Covid ann. Bidh ionndrainn mhòr air am measg iomadh neach sna coimhearsnachdan a bha e a’ frithealadh mar thidsear, mar mhinistear agus mar Chrìosdaidh.

Our school flag is flying at half mast to mark the sad passing of Rev Iain Morrison. Iain was a Computing Teacher at The Nicolson for many years. He also held the post of Principal Teacher in the TVEI project as well as Depute Rector before he followed his calling to the ministry. Iain always had a smile on his face and a hilarious retort for his colleagues and pupils. He will be sadly missed by his former colleagues and friends here at the school as well as his many former pupils in the community. Our thoughts are with his family at this very, very sad time. Iain was a huge part of the school for so many years and he will be fondly remembered by colleagues and friends.
