E has been coming to our Bible Study for the past four weeks. He finds social situations difficult and in his own words, “doesn’t do groups” — but after coming to faith, he wanted to give it a try.
Being part of the group looks different for E, but when we checked in with him, he simply said he loves coming.
The officers have noticed the change too — he comes back from the group wanting to talk about what he’s learned, and has even shared that he now has two friends there, which is something completely new for him.
We’re so thankful to God that he’s found a place of safety, acceptance and belonging, and that he’s enjoying exploring the Bible alongside others.
And we’re so encouraged by the way the men are supporting one another — growing in character and helping create a space where everyone can belong.
God is at work.
