Anything is possible

In a recent prayer meeting, one of our prisons workers asked the men there to pray together and ask God to reveal any lies they'd been believing about their own identity. When it was time to share, one man said, 'I think God told me that I have always believed that I need to make people scared of me to gain respect from them. God said instead that I'm allowed to be myself.' Another man said, 'I think God showed me the lie I believe is that everyone else is forgiven but me, but God says I am also forgiven'. And someone else said, 'I have been believing I can never change, but God said, with him anything is possible!'. They got to pray together and encourage each other!

Please pray for Jo as she prepares to lead chapel services tomorrow.

We're praying for powerful encounters with Jesus, meaningful opportunities to pray with the men, and for the holy spirit to be at work in their hearts.

Pray that those who don't yet know Jesus would come to faith, and that those already following him would grow deeper in their relationship with Him.

As the team begin preparing for the new school term, we'd love you to pray with us.

We're praying for new opportunities to work with schools, deliver lessons, support Christian Unions, and build meaningful relationships with young people.

Most of all, we're praying for opportunities to share the hope of Jesus and see lives transformed by the gospel.

Please pray for Mat tomorrow as he visits one of our prisons alongside our new prisons worker.

Pray for fruitful conversations, wisdom and encouragement as they spend time with the men. We also pray for clarity and confidence as they explore all that God has planned for this new role.

We're excited to see what God will do through this new season of ministry.

Please pray for our prison choirs today.

The men are really benefiting from meeting together, learning new songs and building community.

Pray that the choirs would continue to be a blessing, supporting wellbeing and helping men take steps towards God through chaplaincy and faith courses.

We're believing for hope, transformation and lives changed.

The young people on The Scattering mission head out into Llanelli & Cardiff today. Pray they'd be obedient to God's guidance, be encouraged by his presence, and see many come to know Jesus.
