A great TLC gathering today at Baptist House with colleagues from Central Baptist Association Eastern Baptist Association UK London Baptists and Regent’s Park College, Oxford. Congratulations to Sarah (Pioneer Children and families worker in Bicester) and Philippa (Ministry director at Easthampstead Baptist Church) who have just completed the academic requirements of the Recognised Local Minister pathway.

Yesterday, over 90 ministers and leaders fellowshipped together at the SCBA Leaders' Day & AGM.

It was great to have Phil Knox, from Evangelical Alliance, lead us in the morning, looking at how we can be a 'Good News Church' in today's society.

We also spent the afternoon looking at where SCBA are as an Association and where we are going.

Our next Leaders' Day will be on Monday 8th November at Lower Earley Baptist Church in Reading.

The SCBA has held a retreat for those that work with children and young people for over 15 years. This year we joined in with the national one and it was brilliant to make connections across our different associations (Jo from Stour Valley and Kerry from Chipping Campden were also with us but left before the photo!)
