Our food bank is open to everyone, regardless of faith, background or ethnicity. There is no judgement, and all requests are treated with complete confidentiality.

Masjid As-Salaam's monthly food bank is open to all, confidential and non-judgemental. There's no shame in needing a hand, and you wouldn't be the first — it's already a lifeline for 40 families across Dewsbury, Batley and surrounding areas every single month.

This Sunday, our Food Bank will once again be open to support anyone in need of food assistance within the community. No referrals, no judgement — just support for those who need it.

Whether it’s for yourself, a family member, neighbour or friend, please reach out. All support is handled with complete confidentiality and respect.

For anyone unable to attend in person, free delivery can also be arranged.

This Eid, we had the honour of sharing small gift bags with our neighbours around the masjid — a simple gesture to spread kindness and represent the beauty of our religion.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him be good to his neighbour.”

A huge thank you to everyone involved and those who donated to make this possible — may Allah reward you abundantly.

Special shoutout to our talented bakers who went out of their way to make some delicious desserts!

This Sunday, Masjid As-Salaam will be opening its doors once again for our Monthly Food Bank, supporting families in our community who may be struggling in silence.

No one should have to worry about how they will feed their children or put food on the table. Through your support, we are able to provide essential food to those who need it most.

Our food bank is open to everyone, regardless of faith or background.
