Flower Festival and 136 th Anniversary – Thursday 21 st – Saturday
23 rd May, stalls, refreshments, 10.00 am – 4.00 pm. Songs of
Praise Service Sunday 24 th May 3.00 pm. We will need helpers for
the stalls and stewarding for each day and also items for the stalls.

Flower Festival and 135 th anniversary – Thank you to everyone
who helped and supported. The total raised after expenses is
£2,359.01. We have donated £500 to the Leprosy Mission. The
offering at the Songs of Praise was £158.50 for the Matjinge Fund.

Coffee morning on 26th Oct. raised £378.06, for the Leprosy
Mission and Church Funds. We purchased the following gifts of
life from the Leprosy Mission – The gift of sight; 2 sets of school
kits for 2 children; 2 sets of shoes for two; 2 free range chickens; 1
pack of clean sheets. Thank you for your support.

Matjinge Project
I am delighted to report that we have completed the solar pump
installation and there is now water at Matjinge School!

Flower Festival and 134th Church Anniversary went very
well. The children’s singing on Thursday and Friday morning gave
us a good start. The flower arrangements were admired as was
the theme of Songs of joy and wonder. The Songs of Praise on
Sunday afternoon was a wonderful ending with a large
congregation, excellent singing and how blessed we were to have
Revd Steve and Revd Rich.
The flower festival raised after expenses £2,212.16, from this we
will give £500 to the Matjinge Appeal. The collection at the Songs
of Praise was £181 also for the Matjinge Appeal. Thank you to all
those who helped, visited, donated, your generosity of talent, gifts
and time are greatly appreciated.

Christmas services - Many thanks to everyone who took part in
the services. The total collection at the services for the King’s Lynn
Night Shelter was £400. The Christmas Fayre raised £566 also for
the Night Shelter. The Night Shelter send their grateful thanks for
all the money raised, it will definitely be put to good use.
