I'd like to thank all the parents and girls of the 168th ballyarnett GB. For their kind gifts words and messages, that to all have Linda Gardiner the outgoing captain tonight at the social get-together and awards presentation. Linda has been extremely overwhelmed proud emotional over all the gifts and thoughtful words and wee notes from everyone that made her very proud of each and everyone of the girls she had the privilege honour and pleasure of being their captain over the last 10 years plus her time prior to captaincy as an associate member. A big thank-you one and all for making her feel so special and proud to call you all " her girls!" It's been a very sad and emotional ending to her tenency as Captain but one which has build many many fond memories ,laughter, tears and most if all great friendships build over the decade of her service. I'm extremely proud of her for the commitment she gave the compassion she's shown and pleasure she took from mentoring you all watching you grow in the company and "seeking serving and following Christ" finally I'd like to again thank all the family's and the "girls" for their support over the years . God bless and take care all of you .

Beautiful post received this evening from Derek, Linda's husband. It was a very emotional night for us all and can we add that Linda was an inspirational captain. Our girls are turning into beautiful young women and we wish them all the best in whatever the future holds for them all. Thank you Linda again for leading and caring for us all. We may have been small but we were mighty😪💗
