Hi Everyone!
This April has been an absolute blast! Here’s an update.
To begin I want to talk about teaching lessons with my old Youth Worker Alan Duddy. I met him when I was just leaving Primary School, when he was my Youth Worker at First Holywood Presbyterian. He was a man whom God used as an amazing role model for me as a teenager.
This month, I have been enjoying working with Alan, who is now the Youth Worker of Glendermott Presbyterian. We have been teaching the Amazing Jesus lessons to Primary 5’s in Ashlea and Drumahoe Primary School. The kids were a blast, and it was so fun to teach alongside Alan.
We were busy at work with events this month. The first was our Post Primary Unite Event hosted in Ballykelly Presbyterian Church. This event was a joy to be a part of. The SU Committee of Limavady Grammar did an amazing job organising a night filled with worship, fun games and powerful testimonies. We are so excited to see where God will take this ministry next.
I also had the joy of helping Youth Workers and local churches host a Prayer Space in Fountain Primary School. These are intentional spaces created to allow children and staff to explore the many different ways God has given us to be with him. Whether it be through thinking, speaking, writing or making. This space was a stunning picture of how God can come to meet us when we carve out the time and space to speak with him.
The children had a wonderful time. One child was so relaxed that they fell asleep in our Prayer Tent! Please continue to pray for the children of Fountain Primary School. And pray for more opportunities to host prayer spaces across the North West.
Please enjoy the photos of this months adventures!
