Dereham Baptist Church Dereham Baptist Church is a welcoming community of Christians based in the bustling market town of Dereham, Norfolk. The Kingdom of God is a priority.

Dereham Baptist Church was birthed over 200 years ago, when a small number of people walked 15 miles from Norwich with a vision to plant a church here. Since that time the town and the church have changed significantly. DBC has now around 200 people of all ages and backgrounds meeting together each week, sharing a vision to see individuals grow to become truly God’s people in today’s real world. "

Dereham Baptist Church is a community of God’s people dedicated to being and making committed disciples of Jesus Christ." We believe that in our journey together towards seeing this vision fulfilled we need to embrace two principles:
Discipleship is a journey. Dereham Baptist Church leadership:
We have a variety of leadership teams. In the English speaking congregations the Eldership, together with the Ministers, are responsible for setting vision for the church. The Deacons are each responsible for different areas of church life and they meet monthly with the Elders.The Portuguese Speaking Congregation has their own Leadership Team working with Pastor Marcos Hernandez. On Sunday (17th May) it is our Church Anniversary - 243 years of Dereham Baptist Church! We will be giving thanks to God in both services - our quieter, more reflective service at 9am and All-Age Worship at 10.45am. In between the services we have refreshments available.
