Some of our folks really played the part at our "Music from the Movies Night" last Saturday.
Who knew Darth Vader could play cornet!?
A great night - enjoyed by all.
Thanks to all everyone involved - and those who came and listened.

On Sunday 4th October we return to worship in The Salvation Army Hall Osmaston Road. Everyone is most welcome. If you are new to Derby or you do not have a regular place of worship we would love to meet you. This Sunday at 10.30 we will be thinking about meeting with God. If you have ever felt that God was distant be assured he wants a close relationship with you.

Major Incident Support at Tintwistle moorland fire.... (https://www.facebook.com/share/p/14iHty3hL8S/)
We are into week 3 of our support for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service and partner agencies.
Thanks to all of the members of the Corps (and other Corps around) who have given valuable time to support the crews and agencies on site.

It has been raining lightly over the last couple of nights and it continued this morning when we arrived on site.
The cloud is clearing now, but there are still lots of crew on the frontline..

We are planning to be here every day this week again, though, as always, hoping we can stand down, as that means things are improving...

Derbyshire Times have written an article about the support we have given to the Moorland Fires near Glossop. We are very grateful to all those who have volunteered
