Messy Church at LMC

Messy Church is a great time of fun, food and fellowship for families. We have a time of celebration and end the morning with a meal.

We begin the morning with a wide range of activities, crafts and games that link to our Bible theme for the month.

Our last Messy Church of the school year takes place on Saturday 4th July at 10am-12pm. We are celebrating how everyone is special, unique and loved by God. Come along for a morning of crafts, food and lots of fun.

Our next Messy Church takes place on June 6th at 10am-12pm. Join us as we think about ways to talk with God. There will be plenty of crafts, activities, fun and food.

Messy Church on May 2nd will be exploring the theme of worship. Join us to make musical instruments, flags and heart biscuits. We will be learning about the woman who poured her precious perfume over Jesus. Come along to try making your own perfume.
Activities start at 10am, followed by a short celebration and a hot meal.

Join us at Messy Easter for a morning of crafts celebrating that Jesus is risen! There will be lots of activities to take part in, a short celebration and a hot meal.

Join us on Saturday 7th March at 10am -12pm as we explore the theme of serving each other. Come along with friends and family for a morning of crafts, a short celebration and a hot meal. Children must be accompanied by an adult. There is no charge for Messy Church, but we are grateful for donations towards the cost of the meal and crafts.
Save for date for Messy Easter too - Saturday 4th April.

Join us on Saturday 7th February, 10am-12pm for a morning of crafts and activities, followed by short talk and meal as we think about how to follow in Jesus' footsteps.
We will be having lots of 'fishy fun' as we hear the story of Jesus telling his followers to become "fisher's of people".

Please join us at Messy Christmas on Dec 6th for a fun, family morning of festive activities. Collect a stamp for each activity you complete and see if you can fill your Christmas Passport. Then dress up and take part in our Nativity play before sharing lunch together.

If you enjoy singing Christmas songs and would like to take part in the choir that will perform during the Carols by Candlelight service, then come along to the Community Christmas Choir. See the poster below for details.
You do not need to be able to read music to take part. Older children are welcome to attend but they must have a parent in the choir too.

Join us for a Messy Church light party on FRIDAY 31st OCTOBER, 5pm-7pm.
Please note that there no Messy Church on Saturday 1st November.

Join us on Saturday 4th October, 10am-12pm as we explore the theme of Gladness and Generosity. We will be making pancake smiley faces, pocket hugs, gifts to give away, origami hearts and doing an experiment to see what our lives can look like when we experience God's incredible generosity towards us.

IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE - Instead of a Messy Church on 1st Nov we will be holding a Messy Church Light Party on Friday 31st October, 5-7pm.
