My daughter and I have spent a lovely afternoon at Ravensdale Junior school, being served tea and scones by the year 6 children and being entertained by the school choir as part of their community week. Hopefully next year we can take a larger group from our congregation. looking forward to it already.

Our bench, its not just a bench.
Its a place to come and rest.
Mathew 11 28-30
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
I met a lovely lady this morning sitting on the bench this morning enjoying a coffee and the sunshine.
We shared a conversation for 15mins or so. A blessing to us both.
