Community isn’t just about where we live, it’s about the people we share life with.

Today was a wonderful reminder of that as friends old and new gathered for afternoon tea at Boulton St Mary’s. There was plenty of laughter, conversation, tea and cake, but most importantly, time spent together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a lovely afternoon. ☕🍰🙏

This morning we gathered again for our “Come and See” session, taking time to explore the Bible together, ask questions, share perspectives, and learn from one another.

One of the things we love most about these mornings is that you don’t need to be a Bible expert, have all the answers, or even know where to start. Just come as you are.

We’re running these sessions every Saturday at 11am and everyone is welcome.

No preparation needed.
No need to bring anything.
Just bring yourself.

Sometimes the best conversations start with simply showing up.

As my week away draws to a close I’ve been soaking up the sun in the garden. This has been one of my favourite spots and I’ve been sharing it with a new friend gifted to BSM by the lovely church in Eaglesfield. He’s really looking forward to meeting my church family who mean so much to me on Sunday 😊

Thank you God for the blessings to me and my family. For the strength you give me each day and for all the people around me who make life more meaningful.

The great thing about travelling is meeting new people and learning about their customs. Here they have an annual “Ride of the Marches” where they dress up as traditional Scottish characters and ride around the town.
There’s also a lot of bagpipe playing. I had a go but it’s not really elephant friendly.
Thinking about joining the PraYze band when I come home though. That looks really easy in comparison!
