This Wednesday (19 Nov) at Midweek at Two. Sue Swain will be visiting to talk about British Columbia.

Kids Club had a lovely time representing Joshua leading the Isralites into Caanan in our food craft. Crushed biscuits represented the desert, rainbow belts the sea and cucumber and grapes the fertile land of Caanan! We even had some Sour Patch Kids for the Isralites! The 12 tribes that Joshua allocated the land to were represented by 12 Magic stars (give or take a few!). The children really enjoyed eating their food craft afterwards!

15 October - Midweek at Two - Victorian Derby

This week we shall be having a presentation at Midweek at Two about Victorian Derby
We will be meeting at 2.00, for a Presentation, Quiz of the Week, and Thought for the Day and Refreshment
Everyone is welcome - event is free of charge.

On Wednesday (Sept 3) Midweek at Two will be having a meeting called 'Memories are made of this'. At this event everyone is invited to bring something from home that evokes a special memory. We meet at the church 2.00, everyone is welcome.

Midweek at Two this Wednesday (6 August) will include a presentation by Elaine Pritchard titled a Labour of Love. This is about Orton and Spooner from Burton who designed and made fairground rides during the late 19th and early 20th century.
Everyone is welcome.

At week's Midweek at Two (May 7) there will be a presentation about the 'History of Council Houses in Derby'. Everyone is welcome to join us at 2.00 for the presentation, quiz of the week, thought for the day and refreshments.

Wednesday 11 December at 7.30 Salvation Army Carol Service

We are looking forward to the visit of Salvation Army band on Wednesday. Everyone is welcome, but make sure you are here before 7.30 because the church is usually full for this joyous occasion.

We had a lovely day at the Chaddesden Christmas Festival on Sunday 1st December in Chaddesden Lane meeting friends and neighbours. We had a jar where people were invited to guess the number of chocolates to win the whole jar.
