Pear Tree Baptist Church is a religious organisation. We hold services every Sunday between 10:30am to 12 mid-day.

Yesterday PearTree was joined in fellowship by Regional Minister Pete Leveson.

There is often a perception that regional ministers only show up in times of difficulty or uncertainty. But perhaps it's time we change the stigma around regional leaders in places of worship and reconsider the powerful impact that they have on the congregation. This has always been one of my most prominent prayer requests: to work alongside regional figures and gain a deeper understanding of their work. Saying that, this encounter was truly transformative as I was spiritually fed by another minister.

Thanks so much, Rev Pete, for joining us this Sunday; it was truly a blessed and uplifting time of worship. ❤️

"Seek wisdom!"

Today's sermon at PearTree was about education and its significance. We listened to tesimonies, shared experiences and discussed the importance of education in today's society and how this related to bible times.

"What do you have that you can pass on?"

Welcome to Pear Tree Baptist Church🙏🏾

By God’s grace, we will be sharing snippets of our weekly activities and the Word we are learning together.
Our current series is:
IDENTIFYING STRONGHOLDS

looking at how the disciples came to Jesus with their own struggles and weaknesses, but were transformed as they walked with Him.
Yesterday, we looked at James and John and the stronghold of anger.

Luke 9:54–55 “Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?”
But Jesus turned and rebuked them.
Jesus corrected James and John, but He did not reject them. He continued to walk with them and transform their lives. ❤️
Whatever your struggle may be, Jesus does not reject those who come to Him. He meets us where we are and transforms us.
Enjoy this short word and be encouraged! 🙏🏾

We had a beautiful International Sunday here at Peartree last Sunday! 🌍✨

It was a wonderful celebration of the diversity and unity within God's Kingdom, bringing people from different cultures together in worship and fellowship.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it such a memorable occasion. Your hard work and dedication made the day truly special.

Who knows what we'll do next? 👀 I even heard a few people saying this should become an annual event... what do you think? 😊
