🌈 Happy Pride Month from Derby Inclusive Fellowship 🌈

Pride is a celebration of who we are, the communities that have shaped us, and the courage of those who came before us. It is a month filled with joy, colour, friendship, laughter, and love. It is a reminder that LGBTQ+ people have always existed, have always contributed to the world, and have always been worthy of dignity, respect, and belonging.

At the same time, Pride invites us to remember. We remember those who lived in silence, those who fought for equality, those we have lost to violence, discrimination, illness, and injustice, and those who still cannot live openly and safely as themselves.

As people of faith, we give thanks for the beauty and diversity of creation. We celebrate the countless ways human lives reflect creativity, resilience, and love. We believe that every person is created with sacred worth and deserves to flourish in communities that welcome, value, and love them.

This Pride Month, may we celebrate with joy, stand together in solidarity, and continue the work of building a world where everyone can live openly, safely, and authentically.

Happy Pride Month. You are loved. You belong. You are a gift to this world.

Celebrating Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness and Visibility Day 💗💛💙

Today, we are shining a bright, beautiful light on the pan community! Whether you love widely, romantically, or both, today is all about celebrating the beautiful reality that love and attraction know no gender boundaries.

For those who might be learning today:

✨ Pansexual refers to people who are romantically, emotionally, and/or physically attracted to people regardless of their gender identity.

✨ Panromantic refers to people who experience romantic attraction to others regardless of their gender identity.

Often described as loving the person, not the gender, pan visibility is a vital part of the LGBTQ+ spectrum. Today, we honor the unique experiences, hearts, and voices of the pan community.

To our pansexual and panromantic family: We see you, we celebrate you, and you belong. Thank you for teaching the world that love is limitless.
