As part of our ongoing improvements at Guru Arjan Dev Ji Gurdwara, Derby, we are pleased to share our new external lighting system which was completed in time for Vaisakhi 2026 ✨
The previous lighting system had become very old and damaged in many areas over the years. To preserve and enhance the beauty of Guru Sahib’s home, the entire external lighting system has now been upgraded with modern new lighting around the whole Gurdwara Sahib, including the balcony areas and all 3 gomats.
The new illumination allows the Gurdwara to shine beautifully during the evenings and be recognised from a distance as a true beacon within our community.
These improvements are part of our continued efforts to maintain the Gurdwara Sahib with care, respect and modern facilities for future generations.
